St. Bonaventure 31, Channel Islands 6--Chris Lombardo rushed for two touchdowns, passed for another and scored an additional five points on a field goal and two conversions for the Seraphs at Channel Islands.
Lombardo completed nine of 17 passes for 189 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown pass to Adam Gray-Hayward. Lombardo scored on runs of one and two yards. His field goal was from 27 yards out.
Gray-Hayward caught three passes for 89 yards and Matt Leeth added three receptions for 61 yards for the Seraphs (1-1).
Jesse Kirk rushed for 116 yards in 21 carries and scored on a six-yard run for St. Bonaventure.
Russell Patton rushed for 107 yards in 18 carries for Channel Islands (0-2).
