Capistrano Valley Christian 34, Campbell Hall 19--Ryan Allen scored four touchdowns, including a 90-yard kickoff return in the third quarter that put the Eagles ahead to stay in an Academy League game at Birmingham High.
Allen rushed for 154 yards in 19 carries. He scored on runs of four and 34 yards, and caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Jamie Tellier in the second quarter that gave Capistrano Valley Christian (5-2, 3-0) a 13-6 lead.
Tellier completed five of nine passes for 49 yards.
Sean Porter gave Campbell Hall (1-5, 0-3) a 6-0 lead with an 82-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. He finished with 175 yards in 18 carries.
Freshman Matt Kaplan completed five of seven passes for 76 yards for the Vikings, including touchdowns of 13 yards to Brett Comden and 20 yards to Nick Najarian.
