From Times Wire Reports

One of two teenagers still facing charges in the Pearl High shootings will not go on trial today in Brandon as scheduled. Circuit Judge Robert Goza granted a continuance sought by prosecutors and defense attorneys in the trial of Justin Sledge, 17. Both sides are reviewing information based on interviews with Luke Woodham, the 17-year-old convicted gunman. Sledge faces accessory to murder charges for allegedly persuading Woodham to go on the Oct. 1, 1997, shooting rampage that killed two students and injured seven others. Christina Menefee, 16, whom Woodham once dated, and Lydia Dew, 17, were killed. Hours earlier, Woodham stabbed his mother, Mary Woodham, 50, to death.
