Impeachment
Isn’t it interesting that the Oct. 9 front page was plastered with headlines about the House Judiciary Committee’s ridiculous moral warfare against our president, while the only mention of a little matter like the ethnic warfare in Kosovo was a small reference to an article on A4?
If the citizens of this country are really so interested in the personal lives of others, they need to wake up and smell the bloodshed. As for myself, I am embarrassed to be an American.

A Republican said, “31 Democrats voted their conscience by voting for the [open-ended] inquiry.” I say, where are the Republicans who voted their consciences by voting against it?

Re the House vote for the impeachment inquiry and Clinton’s pre-tally comments for representatives to vote with their conscience: apparently only 31 Democrats have one. And they claim the Republicans are being too partisan?

Having seen partisan politics at its worst, I will never vote for a Republican again. Wait a minute--that makes me as bad as they are.

If you are dissatisfied with the way this Republican Congress has carried out its legislative duties, make sure you vote on Nov. 3. It is the only way they will get the message that the government is really for, of and by the people and not only for the wealthy and the Clinton haters.

While watching the hearings it has become painfully obvious that the Democratic Party is fine-tuning its November platform. They have come solidly forward as the party of adultery, fornication and perjury. To the SOBs (supporters of Bill), these are all “private” issues. And where are the rank-and-file Republicans rebuking these ridiculous speeches? It seems like such a no-brainer to challenge these rogues and yet it doesn’t seem to happen.
Bill and you SOBs, we don’t want you to say that you “feel our pain,” we want you to “feel the shame.” And to the SOBs who wrongly gave Clinton credit for the economy, are they ready to give him the blame for the impending crash? I doubt it.

Scandals are a luxury that can only be enjoyed in prosperous times. The people of the United States better very quickly decide what is the greatest threat to their way of life: the very real danger of worldwide economic collapse or the sexual improprieties of President Clinton. Time is running out.
