Police Seek Suspect in Shooting of Man
Police are still looking for a suspect in the weekend shooting of a Port Hueneme man.
A hooded or masked gunman approached Armando Calderon, 41, on the 300 block of East Pleasant Valley Road about 9 p.m. Saturday, police said. The assailant, with a handgun approached Calderon from behind and demanded money.
Calderon fled and was shot in the buttocks. The gunman got away. After walking to his house and calling police, Calderon was admitted to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for a single, small-caliber gunshot wound and discharged.
