THE KELLY MAGIC
I don’t know how Steve Hochman could classify the Kelly Family’s music as “pop” or anything else (Pop Eye, Sept. 20). They are too diverse and unique for that. And to compare the multitalented Kellys to the Osmonds and the Partridge families is outrageous.
He suggests that only teens and preteens go to their concerts. This could not be more untrue. The magic of the Kelly music and the Kellys themselves is that people of all ages enjoy and respect them. I myself enjoy them with my two sons, who are 24 and 11.
I would like to make one more correction. “Almost Heaven” is not their latest album. They have released two since then, “Growing Up” and “Live Live Live.”
