ENTERPRISING
I read with interest Marc Weingarten’s “Welcome to Studio City” (Sept. 27). There is one top-flight recording studio, though, without which your list of Los Angeles facilities would be incomplete--The Enterprise.
The Enterprise, located at 4620 W. Magnolia Blvd., and Enterprise Two, at 4403 W. Magnolia Blvd., in Burbank, represent the cutting-edge end of the industry. The Enterprise since 1984 has become renowned for its vanguard technology, being the first in the West with three all-digital recording environments and three SSL J9000 mixing rooms. Enterprise Two, a remaking of Barbra Streisand’s 20-year-old Evergreen, has one of the largest live rooms available for music scoring and tracking, and houses Enterprise Post and Enterprise DVD, the youngest divisions of the expanding Enterprise universe.
