Calabasas 21, St. Monica 14--Senior quarterback Dallas Enoch scored the tie-breaking touchdown on a one-yard run with 8:51 to play to lift the Coyotes (4-0-1) at St. Bernard.
Enoch accounted for all of Calabasas’ offense on its winning drive, with 11- and 19-yard runs and a 19-yard completion to Matt Lowenstein that put the ball at the St. Monica one-yard line.
The Mariners (2-2-1), ranked eighth in Division XI, drove to the Calabasas 16 but Chris Griffin’s last three passes were incomplete, the final one in the end zone and 3:02 to play.
Enoch rushed for 57 of his 71 yards in the fourth quarter and completed six of 18 passes for 116 yards. He also scored the tying touchdown on a nine-yard run in the third quarter.
Running back Drew Coppola scored the other touchdown for the Coyotes, ranked third in Division XI, on a four-yard run in the second quarter, one play after Enoch completed a 40-yard pass to Lowenstein.
