Although Darryl Strawberry’s doctors found evidence of malignancy in one of his lymph nodes after colon cancer surgery, oncology experts said the Yankee slugger’s chances of survival were better than good.
“I would say the odds are still very much in his favor,” said Dr. Keith Lillemoe, oncology surgeon at Johns Hopkins Colon Cancer Center.
