NRA Lobbyist Leaving

WASHINGTON — Tanya Metaksa, a blunt, no-nonsense voice for the gun lobby in Washington fpr four years, is stepping down as lobbyist for the National Rifle Assn.
Metaksa said in a statement Thursday that she is eager to spend more time with her grandchildren. She will remain with the NRA as n advisor to Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre.
