5K Costa Mesa Walk to Benefit CHOC
Supporters of Children’s Hospital of Orange County plan to participate in a Sunday fund-raiser in Costa Mesa.
The CHOC/Disneyland Community Walk around South Coast Plaza will raise money for pediatric medical services and research programs.
Walkers, who must contribute at least $30 from pledges to participate, raised $300,000 last year, said CHOC spokeswoman Mary Lou O’Toole.
Participants in the eighth annual 5K walk will meet at Town Center Drive and Avenue of the Arts at 8:30 a.m. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m.
Walkers can register at the start site from noon to 5 p.m. today and until 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
Information: (714) 289-4000.
