City Redesigns Web Site, Expands Sections

The city’s World Wide Web site has been improved to provide more on-line city documents, news and data and expanded sections.
Under the redesign, announced by officials this week, computer users will find it easier to gain city information. Plus, city departments can improve their visibility, said Bret Colson, city spokesman.
New design features include buttons for greater user control, shorter pages for less scrolling and faster downloads, improved graphics, a search engine and more consistency between browser software, Colson said.
Visitors clicking onto the Web site will also find an expanded Anaheim Public Utilities section and the entire municipal code.
