PLACENTIA
Placentia’s Christmas Clearing Bureau has been helping low-income residents during the holidays for more than three decades. This year is no different.
But to fulfill the Christmas wishes of needy families, canned food and other pantry items, along with unwrapped toys, are being sought. Between 400 and 500 families will be served.
Residents wishing to participate can register with the city’s Recreation and Human Services Department through Friday. Families will pick up their gift boxes Dec. 18.Volunteers are also needed to put together the gift boxes. Drop off items during city business hours at Human Services offices, 974 S.
