Calabasas 31, Cerritos Valley Christian 28--Matt Lowenstein’s interception with 1:43 remaining in the game set up Matt Bernstein’s 21-yard, game-winning field goal with 11 seconds left at Cerritos Valley Christian.

Scoring drives of 81, 65 and 80 yards kept the Coyotes (9-2-1) ahead until midway through the fourth quarter when the Crusaders (8-4) took a 28-21 lead on Brian Pappagalo’s second touchdown run.

The Calabasas rushing committee of Mike Armacost, Drew Coppola and Bryan Jones combined for 194 yards and three touchdowns.

Coppola rushed 16 times for 73 yards, including a six-yard touchdown. Armacost carried 16 times for 62 yards, including a seven-yard score. Jones rushed seven times for 59 yards, including an eight-yard touchdown.

Dallas Enoch completed 12 of 19 passes for 149 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown to Evan Rosenblum with 1:54 left that tied the score, 28-28. Enoch completed eight consecutive passes following a third-quarter interception.

Lowenstein made five receptions for 104 yards.
