LAKE FOREST

The Local Agency Formation Commission will reconsider today the approval of Lake Forest’s annexation of 1,502 acres of commercial/industrial property north of the city. Commissioners for the state agency that governs civic boundary issues had approved the annexation unanimously last month, crippling a cityhood drive by residents of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills. Cityhood activists appealed the decision. The hearing starts at 11:30 a.m. in the Planning Commission meeting room, 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana. Information: (714) 834-2556.
