LAGUNA HILLS
Saddleback Memorial Medical Center donated $50,000 to help pay for the Florence Sylvester Memorial Senior Center, scheduled to open next month. The 8,600-square-foot facility will replace the existing Laguna Hills Senior Center, which hosts free activities, educational seminars, meals and transportation. South Orange County Senior Services has raised about three-fourths of the $1.4 million needed for construction. Information: (949) 498-0400.
