The City Council recently honored longtime city worker Claire Chacon-Hake, who retired Saturday. Chacon-Hake began her career as a housing improvement specialist in the Community Development Department. She became the home improvement coordinator in 1980. A decade later, she became the redevelopment housing coordinator, a position she kept until her retirement.
