Carpinteria 42, Oak Park 0--Ryan Gocong rushed 20 times for 220 yards and three touchdowns, and completed eight of 16 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown at Oak Park.
Gocong scored on runs of eight, 31 and one yard, and had a 15-yard scoring pass to Ben Scott in the second quarter. Carpinteria (7-3, 3-1) led, 28-0, at halftime.
Oak Park (5-5, 1-3) was held to 120 yards and committed three turnovers, two of which led to touchdowns.
Fillmore 35, Bishop Diego 33--Quarterback Isaac Oseguera ran for a 17-yard touchdown with 27 seconds to play to complete a comeback from a 33-21 deficit in the fourth quarter for the Flashes (3-7, 1-3) at Bishop Diego.
Oseguera’s winning score on a bootleg completed an 11-play, 80-yard drive that began with 2:33 to play. Bishop Diego (3-7, 1-3) drove to the Fillmore 44-yard line, where it gave up possession after four consecutive incompletions.
The loss denied Bishop Diego a playoff berth.
Oseguera pulled Fillmore to within 33-28 on a four-yard touchdown run with 4:25 to play.
Ted Chewning scored touchdowns for the Flashes on runs of one, one and two yards.
