* West Katella Avenue: A report of a narcotics violation Nov. 6 at 2:29 a.m. in the 100 block.
* South Lewis Street: A report of a forced commercial burglary Nov. 6 at 5:36 a.m. in the 1800 block.
BREA
* Birch Street and Orange Freeway: A 39-year-old woman was injured in a traffic accident Nov. 9 at 8:39 a.m.
* Brea Mall: Three 13-year-olds taken into custody on suspicion of petty theft at Macy’s Nov. 7 at 3:28 p.m.
BUENA PARK
* Claudia Avenue: Report of gunshots heard at 1:09 p.m. Nov. 10.
COSTA MESA
* Victoria Street: Officers investigated a report of lewd conduct in the 500 block about 2:40 p.m. Nov. 3.
* Bear Street: Police responded to a traffic crash with injuries near South Coast Plaza about 6:05 p.m. Nov. 3.
* Pomona Avenue: A caller complained about vandalism in the 1700 block about 3 p.m. Nov. 3.
CYPRESS
* Cerritos Avenue: Tools valued at $500 were reported stolen Nov. 4 at 8:36 a.m. in the 6000 block.
DANA POINT
* Via California: Report of a traffic collision with no injuries at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 26000 block.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Kalama River Avenue: A 20-year-old Costa Mesa man was arrested for allegedly trying to shoplift a cordless telephone costing $18.99 from an electronics store at 8:14 p.m. Nov. 4. He reportedly told security, “My friend told me to steal it.”
* Warner Avenue: A 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from a parking lot in the 11400 block about 11:20 a.m. Nov. 5. It was later found in a carport in the 10200 block of La Hacienda Avenue with damage to the driver’s-side door.
FULLERTON
* South Pomona Avenue: A license plate was reported stolen Nov. 4 at 11:28 a.m. in the 100 block.
* Deerpark Avenue: Vandalism was reported Nov. 4 at 1:20 p.m. in the 1500 block.
* West Orangethorpe Avenue: Tires from several vehicles were slashed Nov. 4 at 10:29 p.m. in the 2000 block.
GARDEN GROVE
* Westminster Avenue and Euclid Street: Police arrested three people in connection with a car theft Nov. 6.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Gumm Drive: A woman reported that a 10-year-old girl knocked her 9-year-old son to the ground and hurt him Nov. 5. Officers advised her it was a civil, not criminal, problem, but they notified the children’s school.
* Van Buren Street: A caller told police about a strong chemical odor in the neighborhood that he had noticed before. Officers responding about 12:50 p.m. Nov. 5 were unable to detect anything.
* Via Corona Drive: A caller awakened by the beeping of a construction vehicle backing up complained to police about 7 a.m. Nov. 4, saying he believed it was a city vehicle and that the crew had started work too early.
IRVINE
* Cowan: A man lost his tri-fold $45 wallet, which reportedly included $125 in cash and his driver’s license, credit cards, green card and Social Security card Nov. 5 at 2:48 p.m. in the 17600 block.
* Thunder Run: A test drive resulted in an auto theft when a person testing a 1997 black motorcycle took off Nov. 4 at 6:22 p.m. The white minivan that dropped him off at the residence also left the scene.

* West Lambert Road: A residential burglary was reported Nov. 4 at 11:38 a.m. in the 1200 block.
* Lassen Drive: An animal bite was reported Nov. 4 at 1:12 p.m. in the 6000 block.
* Beach Boulevard: An animal bite was reported Nov. 4 at 1:13 p.m. in the 8000 block.
LA PALMA
* Pineridge Drive: A citizen reported that a neighbor was needlessly spraying him with water and had an illegally parked car at 10:05 a.m. Nov. 5.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Royale Ridge: A report of reckless driving Nov. 3 at 6:34 p.m. in the 24000 block.
* Crown Valley Parkway: A report of a citizen in need of assistance Nov. 2 at 1:46 p.m. in the 30000 block.
LAGUNA HILLS
* Avenida de la Carlotta: A report of robbery with an audible alarm Nov. 2 at 9:01 a.m. in the 23000 block.
LAGUNA NIGUEL
* Royale Ridge: A report of reckless driving Nov. 3 at 6:34 p.m. in the 24000 block.
* Argos: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm Nov. 1 at 11:22 a.m. in the 100 block.
LAKE FOREST
* Maza Court: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm Nov. 3 at 6:05 p.m. in the 22000 block.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Los Alamitos Boulevard: Police were unable to locate a man suspected of petty theft at 2:33 p.m. Nov. 9. The suspect was last seen joining several other suspects in a Honda.
MISSION VIEJO
* Marguerite Parkway: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm Nov. 3 at 8:33 p.m. in the 28000 block.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Andiamo Street: Deputies responded to an audible burglar alarm in the 100 block about 10 a.m. Nov. 3.
* Silver Pine Drive: A robbery alarm about 11 a.m. Nov. 3 brought deputies to the 100 block.
ORANGE
* North Orange Mall: A shoplifting theft of under $50 was reported at 5:54 p.m. Nov. 5.
* North Cambridge Street: Police picked up a juvenile for truancy at 9:19 a.m. Nov. 5.
PLACENTIA
* Cobb Avenue and McCormack Lane: A report of subjects in a vehicle throwing pumpkins in the street Nov. 1 at 1:46 a.m.
* Alta Vista Street and Van Buren Street: A report of shots fired Nov. 1 at 12:38 a.m.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Camino de los Mares: Report of a suspicious person Nov. 2 at 9:16 p.m. in the 600 block.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* La Calera Street: Report of an abandoned vehicle Nov. 2 at 11:43 a.m. in the 31000 block.

* East 4th Street: A man was arrested for possessing a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school Nov. 7 at 11:45 p.m. in the 900 block.
* West 1st Street: Someone stole a tailgate from a car Nov. 6 at 10:55 a.m. in the 1400 block.
SEAL BEACH
* Interlachen Road: Jewelry valued at $25,000, including a pearl necklace and bracelet and a platinum and diamond ring, were reported stolen from a residence on Nov. 4 at 8:12 p.m. The woman called police back the next morning to say she found the property.
STANTON
* Fern and Chanticleer streets: Abandoned vehicle reported Nov. 3 at 10:43 p.m.
* Magnolia Street: Suspicious circumstances reported Nov. 3 at 10:03 p.m. in 1000 block.
TUSTIN
* Tustin Ranch Road: Three men on top of a pedestrian bridge reportedly flashed lights and a red laser pointer at passing vehicles near Tustin Ranch Golf Course on Nov. 9 at 7:37 p.m. in the 12400 block.
* Drayton Avenue: Two male juveniles reportedly rode a moped around a local neighborhood without helmets or lights Nov. 9 at 6:24 p.m. in the 1100 block. The resident who reported it was fearful that another vehicle would hit them.
VILLA PARK
* Santiago Boulevard: A report of a disturbance Nov. 2 at 7:27 a.m. in the 17000 block.
WESTMINSTER
* Bolsa Avenue: A 1998 brown Honda Accord was reported stolen from the 9500 block on Nov. 2 at 5:54 a.m.
* Chestnut Street: A laptop computer was reported stolen from the 14400 block on Nov. 2 at 12:58 p.m.
YORBA LINDA
* Imperial Highway and Olinda Street: Traffic accident, with no injuries, Nov. 7 at 7:54 a.m.
* Imperial Highway and Kellogg Drive: Drug activity reported Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
