* Coca-Cola Co.’s Minute Maid division will raise prices for orange juice an average of 8% to 10% early next year because of a smaller Florida orange crop. The move comes a month after Tropicana raised prices an average 10% nationwide.

* Royal Dutch/Shell Group said it will cut about 3,000 jobs at its European oil-refining and fuel-marketing unit, about 20% of the unit’s work force, as part of a previously announced cost-cutting plan. The world’s largest publicly traded oil company said the cuts are necessary for it to remain competitive in Europe as oil prices hover at 12-year lows.
