Campbell Hall Beats Southern California Christian
Senior running back Sean Porter rushed for 275 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead North Hollywood Campbell Hall to a 42-14 victory over Southern California Christian in an Academy League game Thursday at Van Nuys Birmingham High.
SCC pulled to within 14-6 when Greg Bees intercepted a pass two yards into the end zone and returned it for a touchdown.
But SCC (0-7, 0-4 in league) trailed Campbell Hall (2-5, 1-3) at halftime, 28-6, because the Vikings held the Flames to eight yards in the first half.
Bees also threw a halfback-option pass to quarterback Andrew St. Clair for a 46-yard touchdown to make it, 28-14, early in the fourth quarter.
