Exit polling conducted Tuesday by the Los Angeles Times found that:
* 62% of women voted for Gray Davis for governor.
* 47% of men voted for Gray Davis for governor.
* 48% of Asians voted for Boxer (51% for her opponent Matt Fong).
* 60% of independents voted for Davis.
* 33% of moderate Republicans voted for Davis (64% for Dan Lungren).
* 58% of women voted for Cruz Bustamante for lieutenant governor (compared to 48% of men).
* 76% of blacks voted for Davis.
