Aliso Niguel (4-4, 3-0) vs. Laguna Hills (5-3, 3-0)
7 TONIGHT MISSION VIEJO HIGH
Aliso Niguel’s nonleague opponents proved pretty tough and the Wolverines seemed to benefit. They rebounded nicely after losing their first four games and have put themselves in position to reclaim the Pacific Coast League title they won in 1996 when they were section champions. They have averaged 36 points the last four games, 33in league, but aren’t likely to score that many against Laguna Hills. The Hawks have given up more than 19 points only once, and only 20 against Trabuco Hills and Mission Viejo combined; Aliso Niguel surrendered 37 and 31, respectively, against those teams.
