Re “L.A. Bid to Bar Judge From Police Suits Fails,” May 20: I guess when it comes to the LAPD, no one shows any bias. Even Judge J. Spencer Letts, who made obviously biased remarks. I just wonder, if Letts had shown a bias toward women or minorities would he be trying this case? I think he would be out in a heartbeat.
