An 11-year-old girl whom authorities believe was abducted by a family friend after a Memorial Day outing to the beach has been found but the suspect is still being sought, authorities said Friday.
Police said the parents of the man who allegedly took Crystal Greulich brought her to the police station Thursday night. Their son, Louis Galindo, 32, had called them earlier in the day and the two parties met at an undisclosed location where Galindo handed over Crystal.
Police believe Galindo took Greulich because he has “strong personal feelings for the girl.” Sgt. Bob Michaelson said she went with Galindo willingly, but he will still be charged if he is caught because she is a minor.
Michaelson said the girl was in good health.
