Harvard-Westlake Breezes Into Division III Tennis Title Match

The Harvard-Westlake High boys’ tennis team routed Palm Desert, 16-2, Thursday in a Southern Section Division III semifinal match at Palm Desert, paced by nearly flawless doubles play.
The Wolverines (19-4) did not lose a doubles match to the Aztecs (18-5). Kevin Bezonsky, Harvard-Westlake’s No. 1 singles player, swept his matches to help the cause.
Harvard-Westlake advances to face San Luis Obispo, a 13-5 semifinal victor over Santa Margarita, in the division final Wednesday.
Brock Berry, Palm Desert’s No. 1 singles player, earned the Aztecs’ only points.
