Lancaster lost to San Bernardino, 4-3, Thursday in a California League game at the Hanger.
Brendan Kingman had two hits and three runs batted in for the Jethawks (29-25).
SUNS
Despite 12 strikeouts in seven innings by Eric King, the Suns (2-4) were defeated by Chico, 5-2. Marc DiCarlo’s two-run double in the ninth accounted for the Suns’ runs.

Double-A--For the second day in a row, three players from the region excelled in a game between Jacksonville and Knoxville. Robert Fick (Newbury Park, Ventura College, Cal State Northridge) had two hits and two runs batted in and Gabe Kapler (Taft, Moorpark College) scored a run and drove in a run to lead Jacksonville to a 9-8 victory. Ryan Stromsborg (Notre Dame) had three hits and scored three runs for Knoxville. . . . Mike Mitchell (Rio Mesa) hit his seventh home run for Mobile. . . . In Arkansas’ 7-2 victory over Shreveport, Mike Glendenning (Crespi, Pierce College) went two for two for Shreveport and Stacy Kleiner (Taft) drove in two runs with a double for Arkansas.
