Conference on Autism Issues Begins Today

The Autism Society will hold an educational conference for parents and professionals from Orange County and throughout the Southland today and Saturday at the Radisson Hotel in San Diego.
The conference, sponsored by the North County chapter of the Autism Society of America, will include updates on several aspects of the disorder. Speakers include Drs. Eric Courchesne, B.J. Freeman and Bernard Rimland. Topics will include the neurobiology of autism and new behavioral studies.
The conference begins at 7 tonight with a social gathering and music and art exhibit. Workshops will run all day Saturday.
Tickets for the educational program are available at the door and cost $80 for both days or $60 for Saturday.
