Frank Uxa
Santa Margarita, Senior; Swimming
Uxa, who will swim at California next season, has been one of the top swimmers in the county this season and he delivered again Friday at the Southern Section Division I finals. He was one of only two county male swimmers to win two events, taking the 200 individual medley in 1 minute 51.58 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 51.85. His 200 IM time was the fastest by a county swimmer this season.
Lee Brennan/Diving
* Aliso Niguel, senior. Won the Southern Section Division II title, scoring a section-record 565.05 points.
Alan Ong/Swimming
* Mission Viejo, junior. Won the 50 freestyle (21.29) and 100 freestyle (46.31) to help the Diablos win the Division I team title.
Jeff Tuttle/Baseball/Outfield
* Villa Park, sophomore. Hit three home runs in a 10-3 victory over Orange to help the Spartans clinch a playoff berth.
