Girl, 7, Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run

OXNARD — A 7-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run accident Monday evening, police said.
The girl, whom authorities did not identify, was hit by a car on Hill Street in Oxnard about 5:30 p.m. She was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center and expected to recover, said Senior Officer Jim Stallings said.
Oxnard police were still investigating the case, and no arrests had been made late Monday.
