Police released the name and photo Monday of a man who is suspected in the death of a man in December in a gang-related confrontation at a southwest Los Angeles liquor store.
Tegar Alphonso Henriques, 23, is accused of shooting down Ronald Alexander at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Brighton Avenue about 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, said Los Angeles Police Det. Charles Tizano.
“He walked into the store, asked the other man where he was from, a fistfight ensued, then he chased down and shot Alexander in the street,” Tizano said, adding that Henriques is considered armed and dangerous.
Police have arrested two suspected accomplices in the crime, Hampton Finney, 21, and Michael Wheaton, 26, Tizano said.
Henriques, also known as “TG,” is 6-foot-1 and weighs 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
People with information are urged to call Tizano at (213) 237-1310.
