Two League Tennis Finals Postponed

Of the 65 baseball and softball games scheduled Tuesday, only one baseball game was played, due to the rain. Fairmont and St. Michael’s played to a 2-2 tie before the game was rained out in the sixth inning.

Many teams will try and get in their make-up games today or Friday. The Southern Section requires all leagues to have their results in by 10 a.m. Saturday.

“If any teams have games that will decide the top three in league, the Southern Section will allow us to make them up on Saturday,” La Quinta Coach Dave Demarest said. “Otherwise everyone has to be done on Friday.”
