Woman Slain in Home Outside La Habra

LA HABRA — A 59-year-old woman was killed Sunday inside her home in an unincorporated area near this city, authorities said.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies discovered the woman’s body about 10:15 a.m. after they were summoned to a house in the 9500 block of Randall Avenue, Lt. Keith Brown said.
Brown offered no details about the slaying. The woman’s name was being withheld pending notification of relatives, he said.
One neighbor who asked to remain unidentified said the neighborhood was “shook up” by the killing.
“She was a very private individual,” the neighbor said.
