The Irvine Health Foundation will donate $23,500 to the Laguna Beach Community Clinic to meet the growing need for medical and dental services for south Orange County’s indigent.
Founded as a free clinic in 1970, the clinic primarily served a transient population. Through the years, the nonprofit organization has provided an increased number of services to a broader base of patients, including the uninsured. The clinic serves more than 5,000 patients annually.
“The generous grant from the Irvine Health Foundation will ensure that the Laguna Beach Community Clinic can continue to meet the growing need for medical and dental services in south Orange County,” said Executive Director Laura D’Anna.
The Irvine Health Foundation is a nonprofit grant-making foundation that supports health programs and services in Orange County.
