Dist. Atty. Michael Bradbury is quick to say that he works with a gold medal team.
Now, Bradbury can say that literally after a member of his staff struck gold at the 13th annual International Police Winter Olympics held recently in Austria.
Competing against 21 other police contestants, Kent Bodin, a welfare fraud investigator, took the gold medal in the master’s division alpine slalom event.
The competition brought more than 500 police athletes from 17 countries to Innsbruck, in the Austrian Alps.
It was the third gold medal the 49-year-old Bodin has won in international competition.
At the 1990 International Police Olympics, he won gold medals in the slalom and giant slalom events.
He also won those same events at a similar state competition held last year in Mammoth.
