Emergency Readiness Expo Planned May 4

Simi Valley’s Neighborhood Councils will host the third annual Emergency Preparedness Expo beginning at 10 a.m. May 4 at the Farmers Insurance Co. parking lot at 3041 Cochran Ave.
In addition to providing information on what to do in an earthquake and how to protect property during fire season, participants will have an opportunity to watch emergency personnel perform swift-water rescues and extinguish a fire.
Exhibitors will also have the latest in earthquake preparedness kits and other services.
