Byce, Augusta Lead Ice Dogs to Victory

LAS VEGAS — John Byce and Patrik Augusta each scored two goals to lead the Ice Dogs to a 6-3 victory over the Las Vegas Thunder on Saturday night.

The win is Long Beach’s second in as many days over Las Vegas thanks to Byce, who had a hat trick against the Thunder on Friday.

Kevin Todd and Augusta scored first-period goals to make it 2-0 until Patrice Lefebrve countered.

Then Byce got into the act with two second-period goals to give the Ice Dogs a 4-1 lead.
