Children May Be to Blame for Blaze

ORANGE — A fast-burning fire that destroyed a mobile home was probably caused by children playing with matches, authorities said Saturday.
Karina Carpenter and her three small children lost all their possessions in the Friday afternoon blaze at the Orange Mobile Home Park, in the 1900 block of Meats Avenue, a Fire Department spokesman said. Her 5-year-old son was treated at the scene for small blisters on his hands and foot.
A family living next door was temporarily displaced after heat from the blaze damaged the aluminum siding on their unit.
The American Red Cross assisted the families.
