Two Navy A-Subs Collide

WASHINGTON — Two U.S. Navy nuclear-powered submarines collided during an exercise off Long Island but reached port in Connecticut under their own power Friday, Navy spokesmen said.
No one was injured in the Thursday collision, and the damage to the San Juan and the Kentucky was believed to be minor, they said.
