Lasorda to Speak at Police Fund-Raiser

Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda will be the keynote speaker at a Police Department fund-raiser April 10.
Police officers hope to raise $50,000 to equip patrol cars with dash-mounted video cameras, Officer Cindy Knapp said.
KTLA-TV Channel 5 sportscaster Ed Arnold and former Dodger Jay Johnstone will also share master-of-ceremony duties. Former Dodgers Steve Garvey and Tommy Davis also are expected to attend.
