Financial planning can be a daunting task for the novice and experienced investor alike.
Providing an opportunity to cut through some of the confusion and complex choices confronting individuals, UC Irvine Extension and The Times Orange County are sponsoring the first Financial Planning and Investments Conference on April 25 in Anaheim.
The daylong conference will provide attendees the chance to seek free advice from financial planners in one-on-one sessions and to attend panel discussions on topics including stock-market investing, retirement planning and real estate.
Keynote speakers are William Danko, co-author of the best-selling book “The Millionaire Next Door,” and Kathy Kristof, an author and nationally syndicated financial columnist. Danko will discuss wealth-building through hard work and diligent saving. Kristof will cover such subjects as taxes and debt.
The conference will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. Information: (714) 824-5414.
