Oracle Corp.’s fiscal third-quarter profit rose 12% to $215.1 million, or 22 cents a diluted share, compared with profit, before a charge, of $192.8 million, or 19 cents, a year ago. The results exceeded analysts’ expectations. Revenue rose 27% to $1.75 billion. Shares of Oracle fell 25 cents to close at $27.69 on Nasdaq. The Redwood City-based firm reported results after the close of trading.
