Rape Suspect Sought in Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH — Police are searching for a man who reportedly attacked a woman, forced her into a car and raped her.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Glenneyre Street as the woman was returning home, police said.
The attacker overpowered her, placed tape over her mouth and pushed her into an older-model, brown four-door sedan. She eventually managed to free her hands and escape, police said.
The attacker is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s with sandy blond hair and dark eyes. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds with a muscular build. He was wearing dark-colored running shorts, a white T-shirt and a Windbreaker jacket. His car could be a Dodge Aries, Plymouth Reliant or a similar car, police said.
