How interesting it was to read Bernie Taupin’s Feb. 22 analysis of the Grammy song of the year a few days after the event (that’s how long it took for my El Nin~o- drenched paper to dry out!). He certainly knows his craft, and his insight, as well as foresight, was amazing.
Please consider that format (with him or other significant writers) as a regular feature. It sure beats the inane comments by celebrity reviewers in the Popmeter. And Robert Hilburn.
