Santa Margarita returned most of its players from last year’s Division III championships and added forward Norman Giroux, a transfer from Mater Dei, and sophomore Spencer George. Tim Pierce (21 goals, 13 assists) has been the Eagles most dangerous offensive player all season. He has worked well with Ryan Coiner (13 goals, 10 assists). The Lions scored 11 goals in four playoff games. They will be without sophomore forward John Cross, who broke his collarbone in the semifinals.
