Regarding your Morning Report item about “a less-stellar-than-expected lineup” at a June charity concert near Princess Diana’s burial site (Feb. 28):
It seems you do not know who Sir Cliff Richard is--and you certainly didn’t bother to check. Cliff Richard has been Britain’s top rock-pop male artist for the past 40 years! He has sold more records than anyone in Britain with the exception of Elvis Presley! In the early ‘70s, he began devoting a lot of his time to charity causes and was close to Princess Diana, working with her in some of her causes.
Cliff has many fans in the U.S., and I believe we deserve an apology.
