SCC Wins on Walk in the 10th Inning

Kevin Doyle scored the game-winning run on Greg Schrieber’s bases-loaded walk in bottom of the 10th inning as Southern California College won its seventh consecutive game by defeating Bellevue (Neb.), 4-3, in a nonconference baseball game Thursday at SCC.
Kelly Lowery pitched the last four innings for SCC (11-5), giving up four hits and one unearned run, for his first victory of the season.
Bellevue fell to 4-6-1.
In nonconference softball:
Concordia 2-8, Evangel (Mo.) 3-7--Crystal Rosenthal had two hits, two runs scored and three RBIs for the Eagles (4-6) in the second game.
Carrie Shankles pitched an eight-hitter and did not give up an earned run to record her fourth victory.
Pacific Christian 11-14, College of Notre Dame 3-1 (5 innings, mercy rule, both games)--Lisa Price had a double, triple, home run and four RBIs in the first game for Pacific Christian (10-2).
