Williams Named MVP of the ABL

The Portland Power’s Natalie Williams, the ABL’s leading scorer and rebounder, was named the league’s most valuable player Wednesday.
The 6-foot-1 former UCLA All-American averaged 21.9 points and 11.6 rebounds this season. Yolanda Griffith of the Long Beach StingRays was second in the balloting. Williams received 33 of 39 first-place votes.
