Valley VOTE, the group pushing for a study on the creation of a separate San Fernando Valley city, is rethinking the start for its petition drive. In the past, Valley VOTE leaders have said the drive to collect 135,000 signatures would begin in May. Now they say it will begin when “all the volunteers and funds required are in place.” No firm date has been mentioned.
