Computer Lab Aids Students With Work

Golden West College students can now surf the Internet to help prepare research papers and other school work, thanks to a new computer center.
The lab includes 40 computers that allow students unlimited Internet access and e-mail. The lab also includes laser printing and CD-ROM drives.
Officials said students can use the center to hunt for jobs, target universities for transfers and exchange ideas with others throughout the world.
The center is in the R. Dudley Boyce Library and is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday’s the center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
